Spain is Europe’s “great natural park.” It is home to many protected natural enclaves, including National Parks, National Monuments, Regional and Natural Parks, Flora and Fauna Reserves, Biosphere Reserves, and even World Heritage Sites. All of these comprise what we might call “untamed” Spain, places where we can admire and enjoy the country’s unspoiled nature. This guidebook will help you discover these wonderful places. One hundred sites have been selected for inclusion in this guide. For each site, the book provides a map and suggests an itinerary.
